There are three main things you are going to like about Jerome Crea’s multipurpose Windows management tool, NetZup. First up you are going to like that it is offered for the great price of free. Next up you are going to like that it comes with a comprehensive interface. And last but not least, you’re going to like what you can do with the application – silently run inventories, locate users, identify online nodes, and more.

To get NetZup up and running on your Windows-powered PC, you will have to download and run a self-extracting SFX installer. A simple setup wizard will take you through all the steps you need to take to complete the installation process. The whole thing will go along smoothly and rapidly.

The interface of NetZup seems to have been built with ease of use in mind. Or to put it in other words, you will not have to go through a steep learning curve to get accustomed to its interface. A quick look at the interface and you’ll immediately feel at home.

From a functionality point of view, NetZup has a lot to offer – and it offers it without asking for any money in return. As previously mentioned, you can use NetZup to perform the following tasks: identify online nodes, install software on a remote machine silently, run software and hardware inventories, locate users, and browse admin shares.

NetZup is released under a GNU General Public License.
NetZup was developed using Visual Basic .NET.

NetZup works as advertised, does lots of things, and it's free. What’s not to like about it?

Pros

Installing NetZup on a Windows-powered machine takes little time. The interface was built with ease of use in mind. You can use the Windows management tool to perform multiple tasks. NetZup is a free application (released under a GNU General Public License).

Cons

None that I could think of.
